Calvin Info

Calvin Polon started his career at DU playing for the Junior Pioneers and from there went on to play high level AAA hockey. He played for Denver East while in high school, he was on varsity for all 4 years. While captaining the Angels for two of them. He finished his high school career being top 2 on the all time points list for Denver East and went on to receive a first team all state, and First team all conference 3 times during his time with the Angels. Polon played some junior hockey before joining the coaching staff at Denver East.

Calvin is going into his second year coaching for the Angles. He won the JV state championship in his first season coaching and looks to add more. Calvin is currently in his sophomore year at the University of Denver double majoring in Chemistry and Biology with a minor in Kinesiology with the hopes to become an anesthesiologist. Calvin looks forward to coaching many more years and is excited to help develop and grow his players hockey IQ and love for the game.
